My office computer had an update and when I try opening a file in Archicad, the file explorer that pops up doesn´t have the "quick access" folder like it used to have before the update. I have to look in hundreds of folders to find the one I need. How on earth can I fix this?
Operating system used: Windows 11

I found how to make it work. When I open the file explorer, I went to the top panel and clicked on the 3 dots, then Options. In the general tab, I selected that file explorer opens for "Start". Now when I open a file in Archicad, I have the "Start" option in the right panel, and there are all the pinned files.

That would be a Win11 question, not an AC question. Does Start not show you what you want? Looks about the same. I never use Quick Access so I never noticed the UI change.
Also, has nothing to do with Visualisation...

I don't have it in Windows 11 either.
It may not be there in Windows 11 like it is in Windows 10.
If it is, then there will be a Windows System setting somewhere to turn it on, but where I do not know.
This is it in Windows 10, if anyone knows how to turn it on in Windows 11.
I suspect it is just not there now unless you can go into some 'classic' mode.

Does that change what Start shows? Or was the issue that the window did not open to that tab by default?

I don´t know what the Start should show by default. After the change in the settings that I did, it shows the pinned folders I chose, which are the quick access system Windows 11 has, I suppose.
