Im having a problem on an AC18 teamwork project which is driving me up the wall.
With the project open, my available RAM is about 5GB.
When I start updating / publishing my drawings, this drop down to 3Gigs which is understandable, the problem is that AC doesnt "release" the RAM again ie the available RAM will remain on the lowest point it was during publishing and continue to lower.
So if I publish all my drawings in one go, Im left with about 500 megs of RAM which my PC totally unresponsive, sometimes I have to forcefully close AC in the task manager, which in a teamwork project is less than ideal
Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it be a Windows problem?
Just to tack onto my own post, been meaning to ask this....
I just closed about 6 instances of Cinerender in the Windows Task Manager, their not taking up a huge amount of RAM their just sitting their idle.
I've only got one Archicad open and wasnt using Cinerender, would this be something that could be solve by the update?
This is strange.
I just had 3 ArchiCAD instance running. There were 6 CineRender processes in the Task Manager.
I quit all 3 ArchiCAD instances and 3 CineRender processes still remained running in the Task Manager.
I will report this to Graphisoft.

Dear All,
We contacted brakpanpolisie about his RAM problem and we added a bug to our database about his issue stating, that ArchiCAD doesn't release the RAM after updating the drawings. The bug has already been fixed in the 5719 build, and will probably be part of the next Update.
However it is important to note that the project in question is quite large and we recommend at least 16GB RAM in case of similar projects.
