Hi Ali,
Both the Toshiba and the Dell look good.
The 18.4" notebook is quite large, actually I had to buy a backpack to be able to carry it because there was no such large notebook case available.
Now I say 17" with this resolution would be ideal for me.

You should go to a electronics store and check out a 15.6" notebook with this resolution just to make sure the text is large enough for you.

Bummer i was going to say my i7 Macbook Pro!, otherwise any intel i7 HP or even a Dell one runs ArchiCAD beautifully.

Looks good to me.
But I would go for the higher resolution if possible. It is worth it.
