Hello, I have a problem. When starting Archicad 25, a "caution" box appears with the words "cannot create temporary documents". And after a few seconds, the program closes itself. It does not create a new file either. I tried deleting all the files that appear in the first page and the box remains. In the folder Graphisoft, there is no file "autosave-25". Could you please help?

Does your user profile have full read/write access to all of the folders it should on your local drive?
Sounds like a permission problem to me.
What operating system are you using?

Hello!
I am using Windows 10, if this is what you mean.
My archicad licence is for students. Till yesterday, I was using it but today this problem appeared.
Thank you for your reply!

You have disc space? Temp folder space? Run a disc cleanup, or what ever the eq. is on Mac?

If it was working before, then the problem isprobably not access permissions.
More likely a lack of hard drive space as Ling has suggested.

Free disc space: 30GB and I just deleted all the files in temporary folder. I tried to open Archicad again but the message remains.
Thank you!

Completely re-boot your machine.
That may clear the problem.

I am having this issue on 01.03.25. in Archicad-26-USA-Update-7004 . I have deleted all AutoSaves in the startup of ArchiCAD, as some have suggested. I can't find the actual AutoSaves in the Graphisoft Folder. Does anyone know where this is located? I have downloaded a new ArchiCAD 26 and restarted my computer. Running out of options.

Solved. For PC users ArchiCAD26 (or other versions).
Make sure you are NOT heading to System C > Program Files > Graphisoft > ArchiCAD26 (or other version). Make sure you are going to System C > Users > Graphisoft. Otherwise you will not be able to see all the AutoSaves, which you need to delete here. That should work. Hope that helps someone.

For an example image of the location (on Windows machine), see my post here.
I would merge the two posts, but I find that can be confusing when both have been replied to.
