Is there a way to generate 3D text in ArchiCAD?

In the 9.1 library under 01 General 81/Pictures and Texts 81 there is a 3D text.

For the flat one, there is the library part in standard libraries.

For the curved texts, or the ones mapped onto a sphere, you have to try ArchiForma or GDL Toolbox.

I am seraching here and there thinking that there must be a 3d text tool in AC12. Could anyone put me wise?

FJW:

Open the Object Tool dialog box, in the upper left panel change "Folder View" to "Find library parts" and search for "Text 3D". This is an object in the ArchiCAD library.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Ahh thanks for your reply. I am fairly new to Archicad you see, its finer points have yet to understand.

I found these objects some time ago and they work well for me. Two flavors, French or English.

MultiText - 3D Curved.gsm
MultiTexte 3D.gsm
MultiTexte 3D Courbe.gsm
MultiText - 3D Straight.gsm

I can not recall where I originally found them but they are in the library that ACE compiled. Check their site.
