AC30 surfaces still not loading

Hi, 

I'm having the same problem as many with the AC 30 upgrade.  I have every library installed and still am getting the purple/black checkerboard and missing objects.  It's disastrous if I can't get these loaded.

Your library is not loaded. You don't have doors or windows either. Is your old file on the old monolithic library? Then you need to download it from over here. https://www.graphisoft.com/en-ro/downloads/?section=monolith-template-and-library and add that to the project, not the AC30 new global library.

Thank you, this helped a bit but I'm still missing the loaded windows and some surfaces that have already been loaded.

While that helped a little, I cannot get the saved favorites library to load:

Look at your Library Manager.

It should show you the "Missing" libraries and the file path of where they were.

You need to load those libraries.

which AC version does the file come from? if you select a window what library name do you get? if its lower than 27 you also need to get the migration libraries.

This came from AC 28 but the file originated in AC 27.  I loaded both libraries and nothing.  The doors and windows are all customized from those standard parts and saved as favorites so nothing showing up doesn't make sense.

Monolithic AC28 library is basically AC27 library. So migration is not the problem. Did you download the correct localization library? I see in your signature you use USA version, did you select USA in the upper left hand corner?

Can you show an image of your Library Manager window?

When ever you get the purple and black checkerboard texture due to missing surfaces, or the black dots for missing objects, the first thing to do should always be to check the Library Manager as it will tell you exactly what it cannot find. Library part names and the names of images used in textures are the most helpful information you can provide for pre-libpack issues.
