Corner Sliding Folding Doors! Why haven't we got these yet?

Not sure this is the correct forum, but corner sliding folding doors are so popular, but alas, you still haven't added this library part or the functionality as you do in the windows section. Please sort it.  I am still using white fills over the frame and wall edge I don't want!

Another reason I coded my own doors.

Although this can be achieved making a custom door with slabs. Just won't be parametric.

You can make two separate panels and then connect them, this will show as 2 separate items in schedules but that's how you'd show them anyways, I guess. Screenshots below, pardon my French. I added 2 versions, one with corner panel and one without, this can be controlled by "frame width" set to 0.

@amgam , except if you put on a thicker frame and have the panels set back further either your frames do not meet or your panels intersect through each other...

I have put a fair bit of effort in to this for our Infinite Openings tool and made it so that you can get the correct detail at the corner for how the doors will connect in real life situation.

You can actually adjust the size of each panel to customise the connection in the corner.

There is a lot of customisation required for this so it is a big ask to expect such functionality from an OOTB object. So you have to weight up how much accuracy is required for your model to determine whether it is worth looking into 3rd party objects such as Infinite Openings: https://cadswift.com.au/products/Infinite-Openings.html

Like Kristian Bursell  already mentioned, use the "openings" section to create the design you want, I showed it in my example. No need to add empty openings when you can just add space to the left/right of the window/door.

You need to use your imagination here.

No need for that, you can use the "openings" section of the door to adjust the space to left/right, depending on how your panel looks. I showed it in my example.

I'm ok with sliding doors as I just use a window with a custom corner. I'm wanting a sliding/folding door which has an exension on one of the end leaves that the other leaf butts up to.  Currently I have to use loads of 2D pathches to cover up incorrect frames or wall lines.

I'm talking about folding sliding doors, not sliding doors.  I just use the window tool with a custom corner to do these. Easy peasy!

With a lot of workarounds using multiple doors/windows to get a correct 3D model, I would be able to get this (or close enough) without patches, but then there is no way to schedule it.

Corner options for doors are non-existant as it is and these kind of frameless corner things seem to be only possible with the 'Rnx' repeating window.

The more high end frameless solutions are not really feasible currently and would be a welcome addition!
