Creating Teamwork file results in missing Library objects

Starting with Archicad 28 (and now 29), when I Share a .pln file to change it into a Teamwork file, several of the objects (typically doors and windows) suddenly disappear, insisting that they are missing from the applicable Teamwork library packs.

These are the standard objects that I can clearly see in the local versions of the packs. The switch from the local / .pln libraries to the BIMCloud libraries seems to be the culprit, but try as I may, I can't bring the objects back.

Are the BIMCloud libraries somehow missing objects and / or corrupted? If so, how do I replace them with the most updated iteration?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you try this:

1. Upload all libraries that you link to your Solo PLN file to the BIMcloud server.

2. Relink all libraries from local storage to BIMcloud, so all libraries are loaded from the BIMcloud server (all are BIMcloud libraries).

3. Share the project as Teamwork file.

It doesn't let me overwrite the current BIMCloud library packs with those from the PLN.

Uploading the linked libraries doesn't convert them to BIMcloud libraries. It's just storing PLN libraries online.

Even if I put the uploaded files in the main BIMCloud 'Libraries' folder, it's not a BIMCloud library, and can't be mapped.

Uploaded PLN libraries appear to be a different format, and won't allow themselves to be used as BIMCloud libraries.

I'm now trying the recommendation found here...

https://support.graphisoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/37260369320593-Archicad-library-package-shows-has-w...

It appears to be working, updating the BIMCloud libraries directly through Manage BIMCloud libraries.

For Solo projects or opening on another computer

This error means your local machine is missing a required Library update.

  1. In Library Manager, locate the specified package showing the error.
  2. Download and install the correct Library update for your product version.
  3. Restart the application.
  4. Reload libraries using File > Libraries and Objects > Library Manager.
  5. Check that objects are now loaded and the error is resolved.

For Teamwork projects using BIMcloud Libraries

If you updated library packages but did not upload the updated version to the BIMcloud, the packages on the server remain outdated.

  1. Download and install the required Library update on your computer.
  2. Open File > Libraries and Objects > Manage BIMcloud Libraries.
  3. Select the relevant BIMcloud Library and click Update BIMcloud Library with a local Library.
  4. Browse for the updated package on your local machine and confirm to replace it.
  5. In Library Manager, select Reload to refresh project libraries.
  6. Inform all project users to perform a Send and Receive so their local copies synchronize with the current BIMcloud library.

Your BIMCloud library version might not have been up to date? The first libpack update was not reverse compatible, so if one source updated, every source needed to be updated else you would get missing objects. Not sure if the second one was the same, or if they have some how re-implemented it to be reverse compatible.
