Curtain Wall- hide every frames and define grids as flexible

hi all,

actually two questions 😉

is there a easy way to hide all frames (boundary, mullion, transom) of the a curtain wall element except the one boundary profile on the top ?

Is there a way to define a primary and secondary grid field as flexible so that whenever the curtain wall gets longer or wider that these fields gets longer and not more frames are added?

thx for any hint!

When you are in Curtain Wall Editing Mode in the 3D Viewpoint, you can select all those Frames you do not wish to see and set them to the "Invisible" Frame type. Then no Frame geometries will be displayed for them.

About the other question: I guess you mean that you would like to have the ability to specify the number of grids, let's says 5, and if the Curtain Wall is 5 meters wide, they will be 1000 mm apart, if you increase its width to 6 meters they will be 1200 mm apart automatically.
Unfortunately such automatic repositioning of grids is not available.
But you can redefine the grid scheme at any time for any already placed Curtain Wall.

Additional help: Once the CW is selected for editing in the 3D Window, the Find & Select palette will have additional options for CW elements: Frame, Panel, etc. The Marquee (Flat option) can be used to further limit the selection in the 3D Window.
