You (the office) has to choose:
1) AC can get really close to what you show, see the attached jpg.
2) Have the owners bought into BIM, and not just a nifty time saving program?
3) Some people just prefer the look you are asking for. AC is more literal.
The attached AC view was done turning off the casings. What you draw is a real,
... well, A really really close symbolic representation of the real object.
4) This means no casing in plan view = no casing on door, no casing in schedule,
no casings in elevation, 3D window, etc.
5) A choice must be made. Yes, you can modify the 2D scripts to deliver
what you want to see. BUT, in time you may regret it. Everything else in
your plan will be a very close representation of what the real thing is, but
your doors won't and the confusion of some things real (er, very close
approximations) some thing fake (gotta have the "look") is going to
devalue the true strength of AC.
