You cannot type in the data field.
Rather, you select from available custom panels.
Until you have created and saved a custom panel, nothing will show up as an option there.
This is actually a huge improvement. In older versions, you had to type the name of the panel, and if you typed it wrong, nothing showed up but an error message. Now, you basically get a menu of available panels and cannot go wrong.
Cheers,
Karl

How do you save the custom profile so it shows up as a custom door panel in the door. I have created the panel as a library part that is loaded, but it does not show up.

Did you save the panel as an object or a custom component? You need to draw/model your panel then go to File>Libraries & Objects>Save Custom Component... Then select Custom Door Leaf, click Choose and then name and save the panel. Now open the door tool and under "Door Panel" either in parameters or settings box, select the Custom Door Panel at which point a new flyout or option will appear to select from a list of saved custom panels.
Did you do that, or something different?

Thanks that worked. I wasn't using the save as component. I wish the documentation on this stuff was better.
