License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. DW combo like this?

Hi,
I'm trying to make a really simple door-window combo for early stages like attached image (elevation). I need to control reveal sides and reveal top separately and also the position of the post. I tested different AC standard windows and also the modular joinery object but I'm not where I want to be yet. I can make all kinds of complicated stuff but I haven't figured out how to do a simple one. Putting together different wondps/door is not an option because the d/w combo is one unit IRL and need to scheduled like that. Any tips?
Cheers,
Mats

The modular joinery object would do everything except the segment where the wall intrudes into the bounds of the window. The modular joinery allows you to independently specify what every segment of a unit is, including "Door", "Window", "Panel" - but what if "Wall" was added to the list?

The attached image illustrates how the selected segment is set to "Panel", but if set to "Wall" would fill that area with the surrounding wall. I'm in the process of updating the object, so let me know if this would suit.

Hi Ralph,
The "set to wall" would nail it!

If you are handy with a little GDL you can create a custom window that calls in the doors and widows into the correct locations.
These can all be made adjustable via parameters and hotspots.

Or you can even make your standard door call in the windows.

This is a window consisting of a steel frame calling in 9 standard windows and doors.
Widths and heights of the panels can be changed and different windows (awning, sliding, casement, etc.) can be used.
Well worth setting up if you are going to use it often - not so good if it is just a one off.
