Just about done With my new window.

I am adding the same code to my cabinets, doors, door panels, Closet shelving etc!!

and it works great with my wall accessories!

How is it's interaction with the host walls in 2D and Sections? The GS macros do so many nice things, but they also fall over for so many things too...

I currently have a few options to display different parts via projections, or just the base window with some lines depicting overhead or transom windows.

I use my wall covering for all my sill detail so the 2D is still pretty rudimentary but it's all there, the window has a sill and casing, although they need work still.  I'm just excited to have the dynamic sizes working lol

All of the arrays. Do you just have null values merge with the value above / to the right of them?

Each value can be modified as long as one is the remaining distance.

Or maybe I'm not understanding your question?

Just wondering how your array works. For example, in a 3-3 grid, if 1-1 and 1-2 are merged as one larger panel next to a regular, is this stored as a 1/0/1? And when you expand the number or rows or columns it just copies the values in the previous row or column, overriding the toggled cell with a 1?

It has default settings that get set when the arrays are enlarged,  but each row is independent so when a row shrinks below the max horizontal number then all the data past the rows array value don't get used and or get reset

I want to release my windows and doors soon.  I use them different than most.  

so my questions is this.

What are the top ten things windows and doors need. 

I use them with my wall accessories but want to make them feasible to be used with any work flow.

Here is what they have.

-Dynamic as a rectangle and semi dynamic when the top shape is not square.

-Interior and exterior trim work with profiles and corner blocks.

-window wraps and sills

-material split for windows with a color change on the exterior.

-shutters

-window markers on elevations

-window markers are dynamic with the window to display all the window types in the floor plan views.

There is so much more but these are the things that i have needed the most.

Ill give the window object for free for anyone willing to give me input and list 2 to 4 things that they might need it to do.

The windows and doors I have made are not quite the same level as ci, but there are created based on the US based window companies and the logic behind standard windows and doors that should already be available in archicad.

I also plan to release my full library in the coming months for free to anyone using the same version of archicad as myself.  currently v24.

If my windows and doors did everything you need, whats a fair price?

Joining of additional pieces.

Where door is located, with windows that don't go all the way to the floor, Storefront doors and windows allow for a Joint on either endframe, which works for the window, but below, you do not get the whole frame thickness, just half of the frame.

Ideally a door & window system that handles mulling a bit better.  The curtainwall tool is often far too complex for what is desired, but can't be done fully with the storefront offerings.

Also the ability to detail a Jamb/head/ sill w/ flashing, that is MVO dependent would be nice....with the details being profiles, to allow for mass editing.

For doors, the ability to create and adjust the size of a door undercut.  that has come up once or twice in a model.

" -window markers on elevations" - Are the markers able to act independently between Plan & Elevation?  If not, I would probably just continue using associative labels on elevations.  On plans the tags need to be bold.  On elevations, (how we use them at least) they aren't a focal point, so they are greyscale.
