GDL Edit of Door Marker Problems

Some GDL edits are not behaving properly--specifically the MARKER POLYGON SHAPE, CONTOUR PEN, all OVERRIDE PENS. All polygon shapes will behave except the one I want--SQUARE ROTATED which substitutes a triangle. Pens are not behaving at all, neither default nor overrides. No problems with the window marker--just the door.

Definitely a bug. I started over from scratch and the pens then behaved. The polygon shape, however, has to be set to TRIANGLE ROTATED in the GDL editing environment to display as SQUARE ROTATED on the floor plan.

So pens don't behave after all. I have no idea what's going on here. I'd appreciate a GDL guru weighing in.

Thank you for sharing the issue!

Have you posted it on the forum of GDL Center yet? If you haven't, I suggest starting there for a quicker solution, as there are many GDL experts over there!

I must admit I have never used window or door markers I use labels so that I can turn on and off using layers and use the same marker in sections and elevations.
If using a label you can easily make your own using instructions in the reference guide.

That illustrates both the power of AC (the ability to execute tasks multiple ways) and the complexity of programmers trying to accommodate many standards. I prefer the flexibility of the markers, both amount of info and ability to adjust with hotspots on the fly. Visibility is controlled by Model View. I do use a label for elevations/sections, but is not identical in looks (no leader line). Thanks for your comment. I always like learning how others work in AC.
