Hi Guys
I'm pretty new to archicad has I only started using it this year for a school project. Having another look it trying to further my skills in it.
After some assistance with using claddings. Not sure if people have heard of it but I have downloaded some wood and stones claddings off 'BIMobject' and am struggling to figure out how to use them in my design. I have added/downloaded them to my archicad library and can't figure out how to apply them. Where would I find them when I want to use it. If I go into library manager I can see it is there. As it different to objects windows and doors. So just after some help with the steps I'm missing.
Thanks in Advanced

It depends on the type of file you downloaded (GSM or LCF - library container file).
Usually you can find them in the object - use the search feature to search by name. Depending on the manufacturer you have editable parameters in there.
Door elements should show up in the door menu, same goes with windows.
Can you maybe indicate the exact claddings you imported?

Hi CosminF
Appreciate the response. Most of the files I have downloaded are lcf. Attached are screenshots of the files I have imported. One of them is a pln.
They didn't pop up in objects when I searched
Correct with the doors and windows it's just these cladding I am having trouble with.

I tried downloading the Ventilated Facade from casalgrande padana - I get this usage information when I open the object properties. Maybe it is worth a try in your case as well.
Each downloaded file must have a similar "operating manual" somewhere.

Thanks again mate for response.
That is the only one that appears. I actually used some of "Casalgrande Padana" products in an earlier school project. Still though the others aren't there.
For some reason it is popping up either.
I'll attached a screen recording of what I'm experiencing.
I definitely feel I still missing a basic step.
Really appreciate the help though with my silly questions

For example, I see LPU42 there - that is a door from Hoermann. If you want to use it, you need the door macros, available if you download the door from Hoermann directly (they may also be on BimObject, I don't know):
https://architektenprogramm.hoermann.de/hapint/gen/index.php#/
If that works, you need to check if the downloaded files have the proper macros.
Unfortunately, I do not see the silly basic step missing to get the imported elements working.
Edit: have you tried locating the files in the embedded library?

So they do not appear under Wall Accessories?

No, only the tiles. Not the timbers I have tired to download for the same purpose.
