How to not display 2D hotspots in 3D view?

Hello all,
I'm creating an object and I've set hotspots in 2D script, but object insists in showing them in 3D Views. I've tried to apply the option "Ac_show2Dhotspotin3D" in different instancies, but it simply doesn't work.
Any suggestions to avoid the issue?

I don't know if it's the only way to do it but if you actually define 3d hotspots (in the 3d script), even as few as just one, then I believe your issue will be solved.
