Hello all. Quick question, I want to design a balcony door in archicad. This type of doors have door handles only on the inside. How can I set the door handles to be only on the one side of the door?
Thanks!

I checked the Door parameters, and it seems that handles are generated on either both sides or on neither side.
So, the only way would be to modify the GDL script of the Doors, which requires at least intermediate level GDL skills, as Doors are pretty complex library parts.

Might be missing something, but there's an option (USA) to have handles on inside or outside within the door parameters.
Perhaps that is of some help?

Yeah, that is an option in the US specific doors. The US doors have a whole lot of other shortfalls though, because consistency... With the addition if Libpacks, anyone can use them, but if you plan too, make sure you do some testing first.

what version of archicad do you own? Maybe that's why you can find the choice in the parameters

That would only be needed if you need the door handle to be part of the door object itself. You could place a door handle manually, though you would need to aquire or make one yourself from standard modelling elements as the default ones cannot be place independantly.
