I have been away from ArchiCAD quite some time. Today, I discover that the "ArchiCAD Object, Window and Door File Format" is no longer there in the "Save as" option for ArchiCAD 8's 3D window. It is a big shock to me!!! Please anyone tells me where they have gone?

View it in the 3D window as before, go to File/GDL Object/Save 3D Model as ... After you give a location and file name, you will be prompted for editable script or Binary.

Djordje,
Thank you, I did notice the "Save 3D Model as ..." option, but how about Window and Door Objects? If I use this method to save a window object, it is laid flat on ground. One of the good thing of using 3D window to create GDL object is that you may make use of the view angle to handle the 3D transformation instead of editing GDL codes, I don't know if GS is intentionally cancel out this possibility? Why?

Welcome back from me, too, KMW!
The subtypes of 8.0 and above might be where the confusion is coming from? See David Pacifico's tip on saving custom windows (same idea for doors - but click the right button with the door icon):
