I am trying to save an archicad 26 file as 25.
By the way, gdl etc. do not go over to 25?
What should I do?
Or is it not possible to convert GDL to 25?

Simply 'Save As' and change the file type to 'Archicad version 25'.
Now you can open that file in 25 and you will have to delete the version 26 libraries and load the version 25 libraries.
Any objects in the Embedded library should get converted back to version 25, unless they contain commands that were new in 26.
I am not sure if you still have to load the migration libraries or not.
I don't use the Graphisoft libraries.
Some objects may go missing if there was no previous equivalent for them.
Also any new features you used in 26 will not make the trip backwards if they did not exist in 25.

I did it again because it worked.
It must have been because I didn't turn on also embed....
Turn this option on and try again.

No, you don't want to embed already placed objects.
Just swap the libraries.

You mean turn off both?
I made GDL in 26.
In other words, if there is no 25 version, we are talking about it.

If you have your own 26 library parts that are not in the embedded library, then you will want to leave this on as it is the only way to convert the objects back to be compatible with version 25.
It is just I think it will also embed everything from the default Archicad 26 library as well.
That is why I suggested to turn it off.
The only way to find out is to try.

I don't know.
I don't have your file and libraries.
If you have created your own library parts in 26 then you will need to embed the library parts.
I would probably leave both options ticked (4).
I don't get any of those options when I save back as a 25 file, so I am not sure where they are coming from.
