Hello... just started archicad and i have a question which concerns me for some time... why all the lamps have a horizontal direction of outcoming light... can I change it somehow? I dont know GDL language so is there any way to fix that..? I used to turn the lamps off nad place the light source but its strange solution ..

The lamps in my Archicad 10 library shine in a vertical direction since they are mostly ceiling fixtures. IS this what you mean or do you really mean all your lamps shine sideways?

Other options exist. For instance, the "Spotlamp Ceiling 10" has rotation around two axes available.

Certainly you are right that the lamps do not have the best directionality, but since a point light source like is in the Wall Lamp 05 radiates in all directions, is this a problem?

Adding an easily aimed light source as you do is a great solution to lamp rigidity.

If I misinterpret your query, please make an illustration.
