Light fixture needed

Anyone know how to create a rope light? Strip Lighting that would go behind a big piece of trim at the ceiling and shine up toward the ceiling.

Or if there is one already created out there?

Thanks in advance.

Tom,
You could just create a luminous material surface and apply it to a slab or morph that is the size / shape of the LED strip.

What about the 'Area Light' object (lamp tool)?
It can't be curved but it can be a straight line.
I have never tried it so can't say if it is good or not.

Give this a try, should be able to control the lighting, but if you
need to change the spacing of the lights you will have to open the object.

Interesting ideas all. How does one create a luminous surface. That's a new one on me. Sounds like it would be an easy solution. I guess I can research that.

The strip attached was made with LPM, If you can not get the lamp to work you may need to load LPM (Library Part Maker). David
