SOLVED!

List of which Attributes are used in Library (by index or name)

Hello gents, I think this one goes to HQ guys... There is any Attributes x Library map/list with the index of lines/hatches/surfaces that the main Archicad Library objects use?
I'm trying to get the company template leaner, with less attributes (hatches specially) but it's aways a "fear" of deleting or replacing some of this attributes and mess up with these links (these definitions are invisible until you use an object and see that is something weird), so for BIM Managers it's is like a "shot in the dark".

1.you get a blank file

Note:

if you have any extra libraries that you also use, you can add them at this step...

2.you set all the defaults on the tools to a few known attributes or attributes you want to keep

this is the longest part of the process...

3.you place all library parts

(3.a. add the command to your work environment so you can use the command)

Options -> Work Environment -> Menus

search for "place" in "All commands in alphabetical order"

click on the menu on the right column where you want the command to appear

(or they are just greyed out in the left column)

drag the "Place all objects" command to the location in the list where you want it to appear

then you can use it...

3.b. using the command

3.c. your floor plan then looks like this

4. you purge the unused attributes.

4.a. all tab, purge

5. you have your list

I have been using ArchiCAD continually since ArchiCAD 4.5, 4.5.5, 5, 5.1, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 8.1, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 18, 21, 22, 25, now testing 27

AllanP explains how to find attributes used in library parts.

But don't forget you also have those used in composites and complex profiles.

You will need to place a sample of each of those as well, and have a look at your Attribute Manager again.
