Multiple Pens in Objects - Interior Elevations

Anonymous
Not applicable
We are looking to use more of the model generated drawings rather than converting elevations and interior elevations to 2D. The problem I'm running into in the interior elevations, is that most objects appear to just have one pen type. In order to create more depth to our drawings, we would typically have the counter, cabinet, and backsplash all as different pens. Has anyone found a way to achieve this?

Not without patching things up with 2D work.

For elevations we just stick to what we generate 'out of the box', allthough I don't recall the practice of heavy outlining ever popping up over here in NL for me.

For interior work I either go fully 3D for presentation, or just stick to 2D worksheets from the start.

Why not include a 3D Document of the room to show depth? Is architecture the last industry to show 3D models using 2D views?

Seriously they don't take long and all the labels can be automatic.
