I have an idea in the back of my mind for making some control objects that write parameters out to text files for other objects to read. (like a balustrade detail object that actually controls the balustrade types)
But in doing some initial tests I've found that you have to at the very least open the actual objects settings dialogue and click ok for it to refresh, and this is after doing the library refresh to reload the updated text files.
I was hoping the library refresh would also include this step but the easiest ways i've come up with so far is close and reopen the project, or find select everything and open/ok (or create a boolean dummy parameter so the scripts run again).
Anyone know of any better ways?

Does rebuild and regenerate do it?
I think the shortcut is CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+R (for Windows).
Barry.

It most certainly does! Thanks very much Barry, been scratching my head over that one for a while, and been avoiding text write outs because of it.
Very happy.
