when we take object from the inbuilt library of archicad of size around 16-25 KB like stair/railing etc get opened or placed immediately wen we click... but the object we created of size just 6KB is n are simple horrizontal bars of C shape n used in for loop in order to genrate multiple copies after certain distance between two consecutive bars... n taking lot of time to open... WAT WILL B THE REASON FOR THIS AND Y THIS IS HAPPENING.. HOW CAN WE ERADICATE THIS PROBLEM...

How does your object look like when you view it in wireframe?

There can be a lot of polygons (and probably there is), so it is slow.

Post the wireframe of the object here, and maybe the script if not too big, and let's see.

You OS and computer specs would also be needed, as always ...

1. 3D view of full object (Wireframe)
2. 3D view of one coordinate i.e. an edge(close up view) of mesh object (Wireframe).
3. 3 D Script of full object.
4. Parameter Script of full object.
5. Parameters of object.

please guide us how to decrease no of polygon.... This object is needed urgently as deadline of project is close... so waiting for ur reply...
