Pen Weight

Hello,
Is there any request or global that can be used to
get the pen weight of a certain pen ?
For example, I can get the pen of the contours of a wall in section
by using the global WALL_SECT_PEN but this does not give
me the pen weight of the pen.
I find that I need this information to script the 2D symbol
for a window.

So do I, but it is not requestable. More than once wished from GS, but no command or global for this yet.

Yes, I had done what I thought was a thorough search
but had the forlorn hope that I had missed something.
