License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. Please help with Titles

Would someone please be kind enough to help me with the two attached titles?

All I want to do is have them anchor by their top left corner to the bottom left corner of the drawing it is attached to!

Seems easy enough! Sure if it had parametric text that'd be cool too, but I don't want to push it!

If there's a kind GDL soul out there to help, I would be stoked for your assistance.

Hunter.

Hi Hunter,
You and me both! I've been working on one for 3 weeks now and I am almost there. Anyway, I downloaded your titles, and the only thing I noticed is that yours is much simpler than mine (because I started by modifying a standard title). The standard titles have many parameters that make them super-smart, but hard to deal with (hmm...like my 4 year old). So if you don't get any other responses that help you, try starting over with a standard one.

Well I am glad that I am not the only one! Still no-one is able to help. It seems liek such an easy thing to do. Do you know what code I put in to anchor them properly, and where?

Anyone? They are really simple and I would be most grateful!

You and me both. I'm also trying to do a custom title type. But I know nothing about GDL. I've ordered a book, but haven't received it yet. I'm hopping someone in the mean time can help me out. I've read the different post about "stretchy" title, but can't get it to look right. If someone could take a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong, I would be grateful.

I have had a short look into your object. It seems you have modified an existing title object. Without telling us, what you have, done, what you want to do, and what was wrong with the base title, it is more than difficult to help. Sorry.

@Hunter
You have a lot of fixed scaled commands in your script. You may not do a lot with your drawings, that the drawings keep at their right place. 😉 Think about modifying an existing title text as Melisa said.

OK, here’s what I did. Under the Construction Documentation>>>Need help getting MY AC10 title right. A member (Link) provided an example drawing title file that I downloaded. In layout, I drew my lines and text the way I want it and saved it as a title type. Opened the title type I just made, copied the 2D script, opened example drawing title Link provided, deleted part of his 2D script and pasted my in. That’s were I’m at. I’m trying to have it look like the image below but stretch to the drawing width.

Frank, a thousand thank you's. You have been a HUGE help. Now I need to go and see what you have done. I knew it would be a quick fix for someone who was fluent with GDL, because it is such a basic part!

Thank you again (1001).

Frank,

I appear before you with my tail between my legs, for I have forgotten to add the Drawing ID to the center of my detail title. Would you be so kind as to include this text for me? I would like it in Gill Sans font at 5mm centered in the middle of the circle.

If you could find the time to fix it, I would be even more grateful.
