Renovation Status in library part

Hello,

I was wondering if there is any way for an object to know what the current renovation status is set to?

Thanks

Doesn't seem to be the case.

However someone once suggested requesting that as an IFC property. But I am not sure, if this actually works.

I was going to say it might be a good idea to ask this over on GDL Centre, but I see you have.
Hopefully you will get a reply from on of the GS guys.

Actually, there is no current renovation status, only a current renovation filter.
Each element has its own renovation status.
So you may have a current filter to show "Show All Elements" and you will see new, existing and to be demolished walls at the same time.

Each filter then has filter settings to 'show', 'hide' or 'override' existing, new and to be demolished.
I think it is these filter settings that you are wanting to find.

Essentially all I want to know is if the object is set to Existing, New or To Be Demolished. It's surprising that there isn't a variable for it, but then again, probably not so surprising... I'll await a response on the other forum but won't hold my breath.

Thanks for your replies.
