Rotate Object In Space

An article was just posted on ArchiCADWiki titled 'How to rotate an object in space' shown here: http://archicadwiki.com/RotateObjectInSpace
This creates an object with a fixed rotation of 90 degrees to the original model.

Is there a simple way to rotate a custom created object relative to the Z axis similarly to how SketchUp can rotate an object? It would be great if a Vertical Rotation field could be added to the Parameters for custom made objects. Thanks for any thoughts. Scott

Hello Scott,
Please see this thread.
http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=5402&highlight=rotate#5402
Specifically, Djordje's post about how to create rotation parameters
and how to add rotation commands to the 3D script.

Peter, that is so money! Djordje's explanation should be posted as a follow up to that initially posted on ArchiCADWiki.
Thanks, Scott
