anyone have one?

I have this option in ArchiCAD 18 at least. You can change the symbol type of the shower object (not the one with the panels, taps etc, oddly enough).

well...will you look at that!
I like the fact that you can put a drain "in the center"...that's awesome!...now I can only get a "square drain symbol" or am I asking too much of this object?

Well, this is the Dutch localisation, but I would assume it is pretty much the same in the US library, except in inches hehe

If not, you should be able to grab the international library from bimcomponents.com: https://bimcomponents.com/Search/shower%20tray

If all else fails, patch it up with a 2d symbol of your own!

I had a look in ArchiCAD17 for this one, and it works the same as in 18 (the option to show it in middle).

yes, I'm fine the way the AC18 object works...yes, have thought about patching it with a 2D "X" type symbol but I just hate doing that so....it reminds me of using "white out" then drawing on top of the white out.....UGGHH....

We have an ever growing library of our own 2d symbols. Sometimes I make them 'stretchy' with doing a bit of coding, if I would end up having to re-draw it too many times for different variations.

It's mostly a consideration of how many times will it repeat, would I use it in future projects, does it have to be 3d? etc etc

With the morph tool even doing some one-off 3d modifying and then saving as object is quite easy. You get the basic parameters for pens and surfaces and fills and the like saved in. It's just not stretchable in intelligent ways, generally.

It is more 'fun' when everything is working out of the box, of course!

This one doesn't have the square drain, but it does most things you need.
