How do I transfer my contours drawings from floor plan to 3D window plain view ?

You have to create them using an element that has 3D geometry, like the Morph Tool.
Maybe you could use the Magic Wand to tryce those contours with the Morph Tool, create curved Morph edges, those will be visible in 3D.

Or if you are talking about site contours and you have a mesh for your site you can select the mesh in plan, make sure the mesh tool is active and then magic wand on the spline to add new points for your contour.
You can then adjust the height of a node on that contour and 'apply to all' to adjust the height of all the nodes on that contour at once if you wish.

Sure ! Morph will resolve the puzzle but does that make spline redundant ?

No a morph is 2D/3D where as a spline is purely 2D.
A morph can be a series of straight and curved segments but each segment effectively starts and ends at each node.
Where as a spline passes through each node but takes into account the previous and next node to 'average' out the curve (I am sure there is a technical term for that).
A spline has options as to whether the amount of curve is adjustable at each node or not where as the morph does not.
