Stone texture on my window

Not sure if I am asking this question in the right place but here goes...

I would like the margin around my window to be a grey metal colour but Archicad is wrapping the stone texture as shown in the image below onto the margin around the window. Any what Wall Closure or Reveal settings I need to adjust?

AC versions 3.41 to 25 (UKI Full 5005).

You might be able to fake it with like a 1 mm trim created by having the outside trim function with a negative offset.

Other than that, the obvious solution (that requires lots of updating) is puting a morph face there.

I'd probably give up as the lines will merge to one big line in print pretty much.

Sadly there are 366 windows on this building of various shapes and sizes, so would be nice to be able to control it in the window settings

It may be your window casing is turned off but it's still influencing your window reveal. You could try turning the casing on, adjust it to a smaller size or 0 or maybe there is a way to control the reveal attributes from there (I don't have my key with me to check).

I think this is the same problem I've had before where the setting to control that is hidden even though it still has influence. But I think that since the casing is turned off, it shouldn't still have an influence on my model so I skip it as the problem because I think off means off. Hopefully this helps.

You could set the whole reveal to be similar to what the wall has set up as the side surface, but I don't think that is what you want either.

You could probably change the script for the reveal setting, but that requires a lot of digging around in CALL-ed objects to find where they are setting up the parameters. It might save time for the 366 windows, though maybe not.

You could also use a shell in the U-shape of the trime with the proper thickness. You can copy that around in elevation and adjust as needed or put it in hotlinked modules for the different shapes.
