Why all the autoscript?

When you create a 'slabby' object by saving slabs etc. as a library part, you get all this autoscript documenting every single global variable etc.

Why did they make the autoscript document all that?

The appearance of your elements is depending (beside all the things you can't refer to from gdl) on all the system settings as scale and pen settings etc. If you place the saved object in a new project the environment could/will be different. so the object declares just for running the script as far as possible the environment, which was present, when the object was saved. Easier to delete this stuff than to search for the setting, which is missing to get the expected and saved model.
