Window distance from the corner (point)

I wish to have option to insert window/door in specified (side or center) distance from the corner of the wall. I see it like that:
I select window/door tool -> select center or side anchor point -> select direct or distance insertion style -> pick wall on near corner or near corner (if this is near window/door then window/door active point -with possibility to select which one - is used as reference point) input distance -> ENTER .
Voila.

You already do. It is called relative coordinate input.

I it "almost" like what I want. I was playing around with that tool, but it is not comfortable in use, and it takes distance from start point of the wall not the current corner/point so when I want to insert window/door on other side it is useless. There is also no shortcut (or I don't know it) also.

There are many ways to accomplish what you want to do which are very direct and easy to do. Such as placing the user origin (then type "r" and the distance), and different settings for placement by divisions, distance and percentage from endpoints or nearest intersection.

No need to move the origin; if the distance is horizontal or vertical, use Xvalue+, Yvalue+ (or -); if the distance from the reference point is at the angle, the fastest way is to set the division value to your distance.

You can use any existing point as reference. Obviously nobody showed you how - it is MUCH faster and easier to show than to explain

Ok. Just easy. I know how to make it in many ways, no problem. I just think it is not comfortable to use. I saw once how it is made in AllPlan and I think this case is made better there. To insert window/door you have to click on wall in correct place. To use as reference corner of the wall I have to put there reference point and then I can put window/door referring to that point (or in few more or less complicated ways). How much easier it would be if you click on the wall near the corner, and po-pup window will show where you will be able to input distance from nearest corner or window/door reference point ? I think muuch easier. My idea was to make life easier, not to find solution for a problem. Again, I know how to make it - I don't like the way how to make it.
