Windows in Archicad 28 exterior 2D trim not displaying correctly on plan.

We have a project in Bimcloud. When placing in a window, the exterior trim dose not display correctly (see Screenshot). Even when offsetting it 3",  it stays in its current location, will not move. The 3D trim will move and display correctly, but the 2D exterior trim will mot move.  What is up with that?!

I have tried to replace the library, but still same issue.

Because this project is in Bimcloud. we have this issue on Mac Intel & silicon version.

This issue dose not appear in AC 27.

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based 15.2

+1 for this.  Having the same trouble as I rework our favorites using the new universal library.

So, the 27 library object works as you want.

I am assuming in 28 you are now using the new Global Library objects?

If so, you may actually be using a different object to what you were using in 27.

The global objects have all been combined, but there are still extra language versions of object that you can load in addition to what is loaded by default.

But if you are still using the 27 library in 28, then they should be the same as before.

Versions 6.5 to 27
i7-10700 @ 2.9Ghz, 32GB ram, GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB), Windows 10
Lenovo Thinkpad - i7-1270P 2.20 GHz, 32GB RAM, Nvidia T550, Windows 11

Let me try and see what happens. But I believe the issue remains and is not resolved.  I should just load the window and door for the USA version and it work. it is not working correctly, at least for me.

Have you checked your MVO settings to see if it might be set to ignore the Reveal in 2D?

I figured it out.

Graphisoft as added a new switches in the Model View Option under the (Detail level door and window symbol (USA).  Under Door - floor plan and Window- Floor plan. there are new switch. Next to the Window-Floor plan the switch was not click on. Once I clicked it on, the exterior trim works normal again. These switches are not the in AC27, SO why would I know to look there.   These option are NEW in AC28. Which Graphisoft has failed to tells able. I even asked tech support for help, and they didn't even know about these new option. I ended up telling them about them.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Is there any MVO override option per window available?

The icon is for "Show Reveal" and has been there in one form or another since forever. In 22 AUS is was a labeled checkbox, now, in 28 AUS it is that icon among a row of other icons. Pretty sure it was a checkbox in 18 too, but I no longer have that installed. Not sure when it changed.

Well, there it is……….

I see you have the INT MVO there as well, do the settings there cause conflicts with those in the USA MVO?
