how to tag a room to a window

Hi,

while working on a window schedule, I added a column: the room the window belongs to. In the case of some windows in this cell the text <undefined> appears, instead of the correct room. Can I manually assign/correct a room that a certain window belongs to?

thanks you

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon

That should be imho fixed at the Zone, not at the window/door level.

Make sure the zone boundary uses the auto method and touches the wall with the window.

If adding the Column broke your Zone, ensure that your Column is a Zone Boundary.

I think the original poster means a column in the schedule.

As runxel mentioned, make sure the window is associated with the zone.

It should be automatic.

Place another filed (column) in the schedule for the zone the window goes from.

So you have both window to zone and window from zone.

I am not sure if that is the correct terminology as I don't have Archicad open at the moment.

If that shows a result, then you may be placing the reveal of the window on the wrong side of the wall.

If no result, check that your zone and wall share the same base height and the zone is at least as high as the wall.

Also check the zone and wall and window all have the same renovation status.
