missing library part

HELP!

 

Im trying to track down the last few missing objects in the library manager for our work template. Ive searched high and low to try and track down these. 

 

There is no item showing in the embedded library and ive reached the end of my wit trying to track down these last few objects. ??

They will show as black dots (or pen colour 1) in your plans.

Just select and delete.

You may have to go looking as they may be in different storeys, or hidden layers, or maybe 2D objects in sections, elevations, details, etc.

 

The number in brackets tell you how many times they have been used in the file.

It is telling you the libraries that these objects are from.

The last person to work on the file would have had these libraries on their machine (presumably).

Or at least someone who worked on the file before had these libraries loaded.

 

So they may be on their machine and not yours.

You will need to copy those libraries to your machine or locate them on a shred network drive.

 

From Library 21 probably just means you need to load the 'Migration' libraries.

From Embedded seems like someone has deleted the object from the Embedded library.

I don't think there will be a way to get that back unless you have an old backup file or another file with that object.

So is there way to delete these missing library parts or find which object is referencing these missing library parts so i can delete them? I dont have access to some of these libraries anymore

Bingo! This worked. i went into every layer turned all layers on and used the find & select tool to find objects 'missing library parts'
