missing objects after modifyng their code

Hi to all.
I've a big problem and I hope to solve it. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I worked on a big model with my own custom objects. I wrote the code of them some days ago.
Today I modified the codeof all of them because I needed to introduce new parameters for graphic rapresentation.
Now, renewing the library on the server (I work in teamwork) and reloading it I see that in the project I have all the objects (the modified ones) missing with a red dot in the placement point.
What can I do?
Unfortunately I overwrited the previous custom objects in the folder.
Thanks to all.

If you use a part from Archicad's Object Library [.lcf] it isn't simply a folder with elements in it - its a 'container'. [See Reference material]

You should make a new folder that you include with the library load into which you save your new or edited object scripts. This folder can be loaded independent of the lcf.

Thank you Dwight,
That's exactly what I have done. We have a folder called 'specific item' for each job and I saved my GSM files there. As Master Script said, when I changed the object and 'saved as' on top of the original file, it must have changed the GUID number and now, every time I open the file again, it doesn't link them even though the library parts are loaded

Have you loaded this special folder in the library using Library Manager?

For an explanation about GUIDs, see this ArchiCADWiki article: GUID.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
