opening gdl files

after I unzip supposed gdl files (like furniture from vendors) all I see are gsm and jpeg files. What's up with this?

Please add to your profile signature your OS and version of archicad.

gsm are library parts. Put them in a folder named where you obtained these objects from e.g. Vendor X. Include the jpegs as these are referenced/called by the library part.

With archicad open Load this folder using the library manager.
File>Library and objects>Libary manager.

Locate your folder on the left of the library manager window and add it to the right side. Reload the library.
