License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

This is not directly possible in ArchiCAD... 2D entities = 2D-only, so not visible in the 3D Window.

I remember that there was a trick to fake it, but it must be buried deep inside the ArchiCAD-Talk dungeons.

You can save your plan as a DWG-drawing and bring it back into ArchiCAD as an object. The plan will then be visible in 3D.

I think he meant that there was a workaround to do so in Archicad (sometimes known as "faking it"), not that the image was fake.

Tried to do it in AC9 - no success!
It is mentioned in "What's new in AC!"?

Thanks for the beer, kliment!

It has been possible to bring in a 2D DWG-drawing into 3D as an object as long as I can remember.

Quite so ...

Open the DWG as an object. Then it is visible in 3D. Since always ...
