Failure to generate 3D views - ArchiCad v12

i've just started to learn ArchiCad by working my way through ArchiCad Essentials ITG. Whenever I try to generate a 3D view of an item drawn, my screen goes blank then the page shuts down and a bug report is generated. Any ideas how I can resolve this???

It might be that your computer's graphics system does not have enough power for full 3D. Post your computer specs and check them against the hardware requirements.

Spex seem a bit thin.

Reduce your 3D window size and use the 3D Window Settings> OpenGL Options=
no highlights, no emission, no smoothness, no textures,
minimum frame rate
zero render radius.

Hello...

I had the same Problem on my HP Notebook. (Windows Vista Ultimate, 2 GHz Ram, 2 GHz Dual Core, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M) I think that this is enough Power for Open GDL.

Now I have switched to MAC. 😄 😄 😄 😄

I have never had this Problem agin!

Vista = Virus inside switch to Mac
