my student license expires on August 7, 2027, but in the picture it says it has expired which should not be expired, then I found an article from graphisoft itself about this case and there it was told to update archicad to version 27.3.4 or 28.2.0 and I have updated it to version 28.2.0 and even to 28.2.1 and still the result is that my student license has expired.
Operating system used: Windows 28.2.1 hotfi

I thought student licenses were only for 12 months (I could be wrong).
If the license has expired, it won't matter what you upgrade to, it still will be expired.
Have you applied for a new license through the MyArchicad website?

It autorenewed for me back when I was using one, and would let me use up to 3 versions back. I think it stopped working like 6 months after I finished though I only used it for a few projects over my course, which I guess might have lined up with when I initially signed up. That was quite a long time ago though so things may have changed.

There is currently a problem with EDU licences which expired after 23rd of March (or something like that) and it is an bug in AC27 and 28 (as well asi in older).
AS @Noemi Balogh wrote, write on the email to get you a new license.

thank you for the link provided it really helped me, and from the graphisoft team it helped quickly and clearly, they guided me until finally I got a new serial number that worked.
