URGENT: Info Box there but not visable!!!!!!!

Hey all, im in a bit of a pickle, when my info box is active it hides behind the menu bar; i.e. file, edit etc etc. i kno its there because when i extend the width of my tool box i can see the info box's perimetre line changing too, but i just cant get it to appear in the centre of my screen so i can arrange it myself!! any ideas???? its a pretty important componant!

What platform are you on, they have different characteristics.
