Wanting upgrade from AC12 Edu Version to AC 14 Edu Version

I currently have AC12 (Edu Version) installed on my MacBook (OS X 10.4..
I would like to upgrade to AC14 before my version 12 expires. I am also planning to renew for another year since I am still a student.

My questions are:
1. Do I have to uninstall AC12? If so, how do I do that?
2. Will my serial id work for AC14 or do I have to obtain a new one?
3. And, will project saved in an AC12 work in AC14?
4. Are there any compatibility issues with the library from AC12 working with AC14?

Thanks in advance for your help! I couldn't located the answers when I did a search of the forum.

1. Not necessary and until you upgrade all your files it might be a good idea to keep it. AC12 will keep working until it expires and then you can remove it

2.No, go to myarchicad.com to request a new one for AC14.

3.Yes.

4.Nothing extraordinary, AC14 includes 'Migration Libraries' to handle most of the problems.

Remember to read the Getting Started Guide under the Help menu to see what's new.

Go to myarchicad.com and you can download the latest EDU version from there.
In case the USA version is not available yet, it soon should be as all versions are rolling out.
