I've created a composite wall (custom profile). Unfortunately the elevation view does not represent the 7" log finish, but rather many lines which represent the curve of the log. I'll post again to show the elevation view. Is there a way to simplify this? (I'm working in AC11.) Thanks!
The image I posted for the elevation doesn't depict things clearly (sorry). Basically there are multiple lines representing the log finish. The program seems to break down the arch of the siding into many segments. I'll attach a new elevation detail (shows upper corner of window & some siding). Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
For gods sake man, use a raster format (JPG,GIF, PNG) instead of a blasted PDF so your images show inline.....
I don't lknow the answer to your question but the first things I waould check is:
1) if your profile has a bunch of nodes in it that show up as the lines.
2) That a "liney" type of fill has been applied to the material on the logs.

After a couple of trials with materials and fills, I've discovered that if I merge the log profile with a stud wall the lines show up. If I create the complete profile in the profile manager (log & studs), NO lines show up. Both instances are regardless of fills, materials, etc. It would be ideal if the elevation would represent the lines of the material. I guess I could always use a fill on my elevations ... Any other suggestions?
