3d model view surface graphic issue

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have an Issue that every time I open the 3d model view, the surfaces are not showing correctly. They are distorted and not showing the proper detail. I have provided a screen shot of the way surfaces appear now, and the way they should appear. (example of grass)

When Surfaces are distorted in OpenGL View Like this, that usually means that your project is far from origin. If you select elements in 3D, the green selection highlight might also be away from the edges of the shape.

If you were modeling far away from the ARCHICAD origin, but you also placed some elements close to it (even if accidentally), then that must be it. Make sure to delete the elements that are far from your model, and/or move your whole model back to the origin. After you do so, you have to save the project, and then close and reopen it, to make the project healthy again.

Here's some more information about far from origin issues:

If you have a hard time locating the elements causing the issue, contact your local support for some help.
