AC 10 - Door Object Issues: Plan & S/E Representation

Our office is in the process of transitioning to AC 10 which has been much anticipated as it resolves many of our current issues with AC 9.

But, we seem to be having trouble with the new Doors (Which we love!). Maybe someone out there can help.

The Problem:
In Plan view the Doors are showing a heavy line where the Wall has traditionally healed itself. The current result looks messy.

Also, in Sect/View the Door/Glass/Trim Lines are not able to be modified individually and so we are getting everything the same lineweight. This in and of itself is not a big issue, BUT then the Frame is surrounded by a Partial line that starts and stops at the side of the Panel opening. Also it omits the line separating the Panels.

We would appreciate any insights.

See the attached images for our current Plan & S/E Representation.

Hi Matthew

Welcome to ArchiCAD-Talk, which has a pretty neat Search function - up there ^

These things have been discussed recently:

Thanks for the links. I admit, after a quick search I gave up looking and threw out an S.O.S.

Does anyone know if Graphisoft is anxiosly engaged in resolving these issues? This is a pretty critical issue which could delay our deployment of AC 10 to an office of over 60 architects.

You should probably voice your concerns to your reseller. I'm not sure what GS's intentions are, not sure anyone is!
