License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

AC21 Railing - Brackets

I'm trying to model a railing with glass panel and brackets as shown on the photo below. This model is very common in my country.

Well, ArchiCAD does have brackets but they come with the upper and the bottom all together. You can't choose just the bottom ones.

I wish Graphisoft upgrade brackets to allow this.

It is quite easy to create your own brackets and then save them as a 'Railing Post' object.
Create them centred on the project origin.
Then you can select them as your inner posts in the railing object.

Barry.

I think your point is quite valid and it would not require additional coding the ARCHICAD Railing Tool, only the modification of the "Railing Panel 21" GDL Object. There should be a separate field for No. of Upper Fixings and No. of Lower Fixings. I will submit this to GRAPHISOFT as a wish.
