Among the new features of AC27 is the option to multiply or divide values in the Tracker. I've been experimenting with this function, and I'm not convinced it is working as designed.
Default input in the USA is FEET. In other words, if one does not specify FEET or INCHES, AC assumes the input is in FEET. So... inputing "5" into the tracker results in a movement of 5'. Well and good.
However, when inputting "5/2" into the tracker, the element moves 2-1/2".
Equally baffling, when inputting "5'/2" into the tracker, the element moves 5'. Likewise, inputting "5"/2" results in a movement of 5".
It seems to me that the new tracker feature:
a. can only divide integers (cannot handle input of FEET or INCHES)
b. divides integers (default FEET) and outputs the result in INCHES.
What am I not understanding?

Tracker calculation for Imperial units are buggy in 27 but better than during the Beta.
"/" has been the shortcut for inches for 20+ years so typing 5/2 would presume 5" ÷ 2 if AC units are set to Feet with Fractional Inches.
5'/2 nor 5//2 don't work either.
This is another of the classic examples of GS implementing a feature that somebody wished was a good idea and failing in the execution. In this case forgetting that "/" was a shortcut

huh. learn something new every day.
thanks for the response

This is a challenge for us as well. I would love to get this issue bumped since the math functions have so much potential. Just a little half baked for the Imperial folks.
