AC8.1 Editable window mullions

I cannot seem to find a way to edit the mullions on casement windows that are supposed to be editable in the 3d window. I have set the parametrics such that the mullions have hotspots when I sect that window in a sd view but cannot grab or move these hotspots. Is this possible and if so how does on do it. I have tried doing it with the arrow selection tool and also with the window tool selected and nothing happens. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

You can edit them in the 3D window, not in the Section Elevation window.

Be sure you are not in elevation view, e.g. perpendicular to the window plane. Do it in an axo view - if there are no graphical hotspots to link to, the coordinates are always there, as is the pet pallette.

...also, sometimes there is a minor 'glitch' where you can see the hotspots, and yet dragging them does not do anything (you may see a pet palette flash for a millisecond). Simply rotate your axo view angle a bit and you will be able to edit...

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I still am not able to edit individual mullions. I am using the W2Casement 81 window and have tried to edit it in an axo view but when I try to move the hostspots on the mullions of the window the whole window either moves or stretches depending on which of the pet pallettes I choose. Also I am quite often not able to choose the stretch pallette portion of the pet pallette since it is grayed out. This is true of doors as well. I have tried to modify the casement window in the 3d window (axo view) with both the arrow tool and the window tool. The arrow tool allows me to move and stretch the casement window, the window tool does not allow me to choose the window at all.

What kind of editing do you want to do? The third button on the pet palette allows you to 'open' the window. Check the attached image....

In order to edit the mullions, you have to have the rhombus hotspot at the mullion ends; in the case of the Casement windows, you can only open them (hotspots in the middle of the vertical frames of the window leaves).

So, it depends on the type of the window, too!

Yes, I have been able to get it to work now. That is terrific.

One more item with regard to these windows. Is there anyway to have the sash frame have different dimensions, i.e. sides have one dimension, top have another and sill have another. I am trying to align the glass line with doors at the top and bottom and still keep the head frame of the door and the head frame of the window at the same height. Thanks in advance for any help.
